The purpose of this organization is to provide and exchange information
among members,
to hold training seminars and dance workshops, and to strive towards bettering
the level of all members while fostering line dance as a whole in Japan.
The JLDA will also offer yearly voluntary testing for those instructors
who wish to become licensed instructors.
The current predominant activities of the organization are as follows:

Workshops with overseas guest instructors will also be held.
In addition, there are plans to hold choreography and dance competitions
